Setting Shortcut Keys in KD Max

Find yourself using a function regularly in KD Max?

Here we go through the steps necessary to setup keyboard shortcuts for several functions in 3D Design software, KD Max.

1.

Firstly navigate to 2D Mode to begin setting up shortcuts.

Now click File > Shortcut Setting to open the shortcut menu.

Alternatively shortcuts can also be set in 3D by going Settings > Shortcut Setting.

Now select the command you’ll like to setup a shortcut for.

Note that 3D shortcuts can also be setup in 3D by clicking the Group dropdown menu.

Once a command has been selected, click on the New Shortcut field and press the key sequence that you’ll like to set for the command. I have chosen Ctrl + W for View > Display Mode > Wireframe.

Now simply click Effect to apply this shortcut.

Now simply jump back into your design to test out your new shortcuts!
