An Update Regarding KD Max
We’d like to share an update regarding the KD Max software. Cabinets by Computer has acted as the authorised reseller of KD Max in Australia for a number of years. Over time, however, the program’s development overseas has shifted focus and is no longer aligned with the needs of the Australian market.
As a result, we’re making available the final licences in Australia as we wind down our involvement.
While existing licence remains valid, support from Cabinets by Computer will end on 1st November 2026.
Sales of licences
KD Max – Legacy Software (Final Licences Available)
- Licences are lifetime licences, valid as long as your operating system continues to support the software. Future Windows updates may impact compatibility.
- The cloud render service is currently available, but is maintained by the overseas developer (Yuanfang Software). We cannot guarantee its future availability.
- Cabinets by Computer provides limited support covering file management, basic troubleshooting, and optional paid training. We cannot provide assistance beyond this scope.
- Support from Cabinets by Computer will end on 1st November 2026, after which all enquiries must go directly to the software developer.
Please consider these factors carefully before purchasing. These licences are sold “as is” and are non-refundable.

Existing licences
Your Licence
Your KD Max licence remains active as a lifetime licence, meaning you can continue to use the software for as long as your operating system supports it.
Please note:
- Future Windows updates or computer upgrades may affect compatibility.
- KD Max is a Windows-based program and requires the Windows operating system.
- We cannot guarantee performance beyond the environment the software was originally supplied for.
Cloud Rendering Feature
The cloud render service is hosted and maintained by the software’s developer, Guangdong Yuanfang Computer Software Engineering Co. Ltd.
- The service is currently operational, but we have no control over its ongoing maintenance.
- Should Yuanfang discontinue or modify the service, cloud rendering may become unavailable.
- The base KD Max program will continue to operate locally regardless, with rendering capabilities via the Render function.
Support and Training
We will continue providing limited support until 1st November 2026, including:
- File management and keylock assistance.
- Basic troubleshooting.
- Optional paid training on how to use the software.
Beyond this scope, we cannot assist with program errors, compatibility issues, or cloud rendering problems. These matters rest with the original developer.
For users needing additional guidance, we continue to offer paid training sessions covering core design workflows and file handling.
After 1st November 2026
From 1st November 2026 onwards:
- Cabinets by Computer will no longer provide support or training for KD Max.
- Any technical issues, replacement keys, or software reinstalls will need to be directed to the developer.
