Creating a Simple Skirting Board in KD Max

Follow these simple steps to learn how to create a basic skirting board in KD Max.

Through the use of decorative panels, I’ll be covering the easiest way to create a basic skirting board design for your KD Max drawings.

Step 1

To begin, open your KD Max drawing. You’ll need to be in 3D to create your skirting board.

Step 2

Now navigate to Search By Type > Other and select the decorative panel. This will act as our skirting board.

Step 3

Now enter in your dimensions. I have made my panel dimensions 5984 x 120 x 16mm to cover the length of my room. Click Layout to begin placing the skirting board.

Step 4

Repeat the above step on the necessary walls. I have made my panel dimensions 3984 x 120 x 16mm to cover the length of the additional walls in my room.
